We are thrilled to welcome Coach Sebastian to the NEVB coaching team! Sebastian is a native of Fairfield, CT, where he played Opposite for Fairfield Ludlowe High School Boys Volleyball program. He played on George Mason University Men’s Club Volleyball team before transferring to Quinnipiac University, where he played Middle/Opposite for the Men’s Club Volleyball program.
As a coach, he has been the Fairfield Ludlowe Girls JV Head Coach and the Quinnipiac University Women’s Club Volleyball Head Coach. His notable awards and accomplishments include founding the Men’s Club Volleyball team at Quinnipiac University and winning the NECVL Regional Championship Tournament in the program’s first year. In his first year as Head Coach of the Quinnipiac Women’s Club team, he led the team to place 3rd in the NWVCL Regional Championship Tournament. His favorite drill is one that focuses on supporting players through positive reinforcement and high feedback, which are among his strongest coaching skills. His favorite coaching moment is when good individual players finally mesh together into one great team.
Outside of NEVBC coaching, Sebastian enjoys writing, reading, hiking and running, and spending time with his dog Savannah. He would like NEVBC families to know that he is passionate about the game of volleyball and is dedicated to helping players reach their potential.
