Coach Sammy is a native of Valhalla, NY and is a Regional Head Coach for NEVBC. She has three years of varsity volleyball experience from high school, where she won the sportsmanship award. She has also been playing intramural and recreational volleyball in college and adulthood.
Sammy started her coaching career as an assistant coach of the Central Middle School team in Greenwich, CT. Her coaching style is incredibly positive while also pushing athletes to their fullest potential. Her favorite coaching moment was watching a player get their serve over the net for the first time.
Outside of coaching, Sammy is a middle school science teacher. She has many hobbies and interests, including hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
