Coach Sam, a native of South Salem, NY and former NEVBC athlete, brings a strong and diverse background in volleyball. Sam played on Varsity for all four years at John Jay High School, where she was recognized with All-FAA Honorable Mention. Throughout her high school career, Sam also competed at a high level with the NEVBC, playing from 8th to 12th grade. She continued her volleyball journey at Ursinus College during her freshman year before transferring to Sacred Heart University, where she is currently a sophomore and plays on the club team.

As a coach, Sam has already gained significant experience, contributing to the development of young athletes. She coached a summer open-gym program at St. Luke’s to prepare players for the preseason, offering guidance and leadership in a team-oriented environment. Additionally, Sam assisted in coaching part of the preseason with Coach Frog at St. Luke’s School, helping athletes prepare for competitive play.

Outside of volleyball, Sam is passionate about volunteering, working out, and spending time with friends. As a sophomore at Sacred Heart University, she is focused on balancing academics with her athletic pursuits. Sam is excited to return to Northeast Volleyball Club, where she looks forward to sharing her knowledge, fostering growth, and helping athletes develop their skills.
