Coach Mikayla is originally from Monroe, MI, and is currently playing collegiate volleyball at Fairfield University. While in Michigan, she played club volleyball at Michigan Elite Volleyball Academy, where she also coached clinics for the past three summers. Mikayla has earned several awards and accolades throughout her volleyball career, including four 1st Team All-State awards at SMCC, two Monroe County Player of the Year awards, and MAAC Rookie of the Year in 2021.
Mikayla’s enthusiasm for the game and dedication to helping young athletes reach their potential makes her a great addition to the NEVBC team. Her favorite drill is the butterfly, and she considers her coaching strengths to be competitive and giving one-on-one feedback. She looks forward to meeting the teams and coaches in the coming season and helping them succeed.
Mikayla is currently pursuing a Biomedical Engineering degree at Fairfield University. When she’s not playing or coaching volleyball, she enjoys baking, reading, and hanging out with friends.
