Originally from Buffalo, NY, Coach Ken brings a wealth of volleyball experience to his coaching role at NEVBC. As a three-year varsity starter in high school, Ken further honed his skills as a four-year player at Lindenwood University and is currently completing his graduate year at Sacred Heart University while also playing on the SHU Men’s Volleyball Team. His playing background provides him with a deep understanding of the game, which he now shares with his athletes through coaching at summer camps, clinics, and travel volleyball programs.
Ken is known for his strong leadership and communication skills, which are integral to his coaching style. His favorite drill, Brazil, reflects his commitment to developing players’ technical abilities in a dynamic and engaging way. One of Ken’s most rewarding coaching moments is seeing his players overcome challenges and successfully master techniques they had been struggling with. His ability to foster growth both in skills and confidence is one of his standout strengths as a coach.
Outside of volleyball, Ken enjoys spending time with friends, playing video games, and watching sports, with a particular passion for the Buffalo Bills. His experiences as both a player and a coach, combined with his genuine enthusiasm for the game, make Ken a valuable asset to the NEVBC community. His dedication to helping athletes grow and improve ensures that his coaching will have a lasting impact on the players he works with.
