Coach Kaitlin is originally from Elizabeth, Pennsylvania where she played on the Elizabeth Forward Varsity Volleyball team from 2017-2020 as a middle blocker. There, she was awarded First Team All-State, First Team in the WPIAL, and First Team in the 3A Region. She also played club volleyball at Pittsburgh Elite Volleyball Club where she earned a spot on Prepvolleyball’s Players to Watch List.
For her collegiate career, Coach Kaitlin played at the University of Georgia as a middle blocker. There, she ran summer camps and clinics for high school aged groups. After having to medically retire following her third season with Georgia, she started to get into coaching to offer a fresh perspective of the game. She began her official coaching career at Metro Elite Volleyball Club in Watkinsville, Georgia, working with the 12u age group. She also ran many attacking and blocking clinics to middle and high schoolers of all ages.
Coach Kaitlin joins NEVBC to direct her passion into the next generation of athletes. She believes that a tailored approach to each individual player will prepare them for optimum success on the court. She has the perspective of being a former player, and knowing the hardships of being a hard-working athlete. Off the court, she also will be attending Fairfield University and completing a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
