bio

Originally from Farmington, Connecticut, Devon Michealis was a four-year starting libero at Farmington High School, where she helped lead her team to the 2014 Class L State Championship. She also competed with Husky Volleyball Club, capturing a NERVA 18s championship and earning recognition for her leadership and consistency on the court.

Devon went on to play Division I volleyball at Boston College, where she earned a starting libero position as a freshman and was named to the ACC All-Academic Team every year of her collegiate career. Her time at BC instilled a deep understanding of the game and a passion for mentorship, both of which she has carried into her coaching career.

Now the head varsity coach at Brien McMahon High School, Devon brings years of playing and coaching experience to every team she leads. She spent three seasons coaching at Chelsea Piers, helping athletes grow technically and mentally while fostering a competitive, team-first culture. Alongside her coaching career, Devon practices law full-time, continuing to model the balance and discipline of a true student-athlete. Outside of the gym, she loves to travel, hike, and ski, always finding new adventures and perspectives along the way.
