Coach Brian is a passionate and dedicated volleyball coach with a deep commitment to developing athletes both on and off the court. A proud Stamford native, Brian serves as the Head Coach for the 16.3 Girls team and Assistant Coach for the 17.2 Boys team. His experience spans from high school volleyball to a variety of local outdoor doubles tournaments, including beach and grass competitions, providing him with a well-rounded understanding of the sport. Brian’s coaching journey includes roles such as Assistant Coach for the 16.3 Boys, Head Coach for the 17 Orange Girls, and leadership with the 14 Fall Club, demonstrating his versatility across age groups and gender divisions.

As a coach, Brian thrives in fostering growth and skill development in his players, with a particular passion for defensive strategies. One of his favorite drills, the “Dig Tip Chase,” emphasizes the importance of quick reactions and alertness in defensive play, areas where he excels in guiding his athletes to succeed. Brian’s enthusiasm for the game and his ability to connect with his players have been key components of his coaching success. A defining moment in his coaching career was leading his team to a Bronze medal in the Gold Bracket at a Rhode Island tournament, a testament to his leadership and commitment to excellence.

Outside of the volleyball court, Brian is an IT Manager at a global recruitment firm, where he applies his problem-solving skills and attention to detail to support organizational success. His dual career in both coaching and IT highlights his strong work ethic and capacity to balance multiple responsibilities. Whether coaching on the court or leading in the tech industry, Brian brings the same level of passion, dedication, and drive to every endeavor.
