Private Lessons

At NEVBC, we offer opportunities for athletes to train beyond the school and club seasons. For really young players and beginners interested in doing private lessons, we recommend doing one of our NEVBC classes first. This is to ensure that beginners are learning the general skills involved in volleyball while also learning how to play the game with others.

New Booking Process

All new lesson requests must be submitted via our Private Lesson Request Form. Coaches will reach out to you directly to confirm the details. Recurring lessons with your usual coach do not require a form submission.

For beginners, we recommend starting with our classes or camps before booking a private lesson.

  • Private Lesson Rates

    Effective 10/1/2024

    • Lesson with NEVBC Coach:

      • One-on-one, 1 hour, $90​

      • Semi-Private (2 athletes), 1 hour, $130

      • Semi-Private (3-5 athletes), 1 hour, $160

    • Lesson with NEVBC Director:

      • One-on-one, 1 hour, $120

      • Semi-Private (2 athletes), 1 hour, $160

      • Semi-Private (3-5 athletes), 1 hour, $200

Important Information about Private Training (updated 12/3/2024)

  • Payments are to be made in Cash/Check/Venmo directly to the Coach.​​
  • During the club season (October--March for Boys and December--May for Girls), private lessons are only available to current NEVBC athletes (Open/Club/Academy teams).
  • If an athlete is not on an NEVBC team and wishes to do private lessons, they may only do so if they are not affiliated with another club during that season.
  • Athletes playing for another club may only do private lessons at NEVBC during the club offseason.
  • For beginners interested in doing private lessons, we recommend doing one of our NEVBC classes first. This is to ensure that beginners are learning the general skills involved in volleyball as well as learning how to play the game with others.
  • Athletes participating in classes or Launch Teams may also do private lessons as long as they are not actively playing for another club team.
  • Private lessons are not a guaranteed service at NEVBC. It largely revolves around the availability of our court schedule and our coaching staff.
  • We believe that working in a private lesson setting is largely about coach/athlete compatibility; therefore, NEVBC coaches can choose to stop working with clients at any point without giving a detailed explanation (clients can also switch to a different NEVBC coach for similar reasons).
