Our Northeast Girls teams have become both a powerhouse in the region and a national contender. In the past 5 years, over 65 Northeast alumni have gone on to play NCAA volleyball in the ACC, SEC, Big 12, Ivy League, Big East, and NESCAC, among others.
Our Girls Club offers different paths from U12-U18 (5th-12th Grade). See below for detailed information on each level, including tournament schedules and pricing:
Season 2025-2026
Girls U14-U18 OPEN Teams
Our 1's teams are built for the highest level of training and competition in the club. These teams attend the most competitive events regionally and nationally, with a strong emphasis on long-term player development and college exposure. Rosters will typically carry 10-12 players, and playing time is earned based on merit and performance.
Experience
The Girls Team Open Experience
- 2-3 weekly practices led by their NEVBC Head Coach and Assistant Coach(es), including positional training most weeks
- 2 weekly Strength & Conditioning sessions
- One (1) weekly team lift in the NAC weight room
- One (1) weekly workout circuits (integrative volleyball S&C sessions) with an Northeast S&C Trainer
- Access to Hudl/Balltime A.I. platform for additional learning and highlight reels
- Access to Sporfie practice film (high quality, end-line view footage)
- Includes a custom, high quality Ren Athletics x NEVBC uniform and gear package (over $500 value)
- Highly competitive tournament schedule, including trips to USAV National Qualifiers and top regional events.
- Extended season that ends with postseason nationals training and a trip to AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL in June (unless the team qualifies for a USAV GJNC bid)

Postseason/Nationals
- Nationals practice and travel fees are INCLUDED in our Girls Club Tuition. There is no additional fee for nationals, other than your athlete travel and hotels.
- We will send ALL NEVBC U14-U17 Open teams (not 18.1 Open) to AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL in June 2026 (unless the team qualifies for a USAV GJNC bid).
- The exact dates of competition for AAU Nationals varies by age group. Last season, AAU announced the dates for each division in December. The younger teams usually go to AAUs in mid-June, and the older teams usually go in late June.
- Our 18.1 Open team will plan to attend USAV 18s Junior Nationals in Reno, NV (May 1-3) if we qualify for the region bid. We have qualified in past seasons.

Girls U13-U18 CLUB Teams
Our 2's and 3's teams are competitive regional and travel teams that follow a consistent and rigorous training model. These teams compete in regional tournaments and select national level events for additional exposure (16s, 17s, and 18s). Rosters typically include 10-12 players, and playing time is earned based on merit and performance.
Experience
- 2-3 weekly practices at NEVBC
- 1 practice each week designed and led by the Girls Club Director Garrett Minyard or an NEVBC Lead Coach.
- 1-2 practices led by their NEVBC Team Head Coach.
- Weekly positional training on most weeks
- 1x Weekly workout circuits (integrative volleyball S&C sessions) with Northeast Trainer
- Access to Hudl/Balltime A.I. platform for additional learning and highlight reels
- Access to Sporfie practice film (high quality, end-line view footage)
- Includes a custom, high quality Ren Athletics x NEVBC uniform and gear package (over $400 value)
- Highly competitive tournament schedule, including travel within our region and competitive USAV qualifiers for many of our club teams

Girls U12 CLUB Teams
Our U12 Girls Club team provides young athletes with a strong foundation in competitive volleyball while introducing them to NEVBC’s training model and team culture. This team focuses on developing core skills, teamwork, and confidence through consistent training and competition in regional events. Rosters typically include 10–12 players, and playing time is based on effort, growth, and performance.
Experience
- Two (2) weekly practices per week led by NEVBC Head Coaches
- Interaction and mentorship from NEVBC U17/U18 players
- Challenging tournament schedule, with mostly local travel (CT, RI, NYC) and some regional travel (MA, PA). We added the competitive NEQ Qualifier tournament in Philadelphia this season for more exposure to out of region teams!
- Includes a custom, high quality Ren Athletics x NEVBC uniform and gear package (over $400 value)
- Access to NEW end-line view Sporfie practice film for additional learning opportunities

Girls U13-U18 ACADEMY Teams
Our Blue, Orange, and Black teams provide a full club experience with a focus on skill development and systematic play, with a local tournament schedule. Academy teams compete in New England-based events, with older teams playing some national level events. Rosters have 10–12 players and playing time opportunities are more equitable, but not even.

- 6 multi-day tournament for our U15-U17 Academy teams

- NEW FOR 2025-2026: We’ve added a brand new 18 Blue team to our Academy program! The 18 Blue Academy team will offer a shorter season (1x practice weekly from Nov-Mar) and lower financial commitment, while maintaining the NEVBC standard of coaching and culture.

- Optional S&C Add-on Package:
- Option to add Strength & Conditioning sessions before or after Academy practices, which will be held in our NAC weight room (strength training) or on the courts (speed/agility work). All S&C sessions are led by an NEVBC Strength & Conditioning Training

Practice Players
Practice Players are often added to our Open and Club rosters to provide additional training opportunities and create more opportunities for 6 v. 6 play in practice. Practice Players will not play at tournaments unless there is a positional or other need. Practice Players receive a reduced uniform package (no jerseys)
Program Pricing: 40% off the team tuition
Athletes on our Academy teams may also have the option to practice with an Open or Club team to get additional training experience.
The Academy + Practice Player Experience:
- 2x Academy team weekly practices led to NEVBC Lead Coach and your team's Head Coach - one weekend and one weekday
- Includes a custom REN Athletics x NEVBC uniform package (for Academy team - over $300 value)
- All tournaments with your Academy team
