Jonathan Vasquez, a Bronx, New York native, began coaching at 18 and has experience at both the club and collegiate levels. He has coached at Legacy Volleyball Club, NYC Impact, and Monroe College, where he helped lead the women’s team to two national appearances and the men’s team to a second-place national finish in 2023. He was also named an AVCA Thirty Under 30 Award recipient in 2023 and is currently the Head Coach of the Men’s Volleyball Team at John Jay College.
Jonathan enjoys coaching athletes of all ages and helping players grow through teamwork and communication. One of his proudest moments was seeing Monroe’s first men’s volleyball team come together after years of recruiting. Off the court, he works as a College Admissions Advisor for AMDA College of the Performing Arts and enjoys music and video games.
