Coach Connor is a New Canaan, Connecticut native who grew up playing volleyball at Northeast Volleyball Club before continuing his career at Michigan State, where he played club volleyball as a setter. During his high school career, Connor earned Second Team All-FCIAC honors as a junior before being named First Team All-FCIAC and All-State as a senior. He has now been coaching at NEVBC for five years, bringing his experience and passion for the game back to the club where he got his start.
Connor especially enjoys coaching setters and middles and loves drills that focus on transitioning from passing to attacking. One of his favorite coaching memories was getting to coach his younger brother’s team at Nationals during his 17s season. NEVBC has always been a family affair for Connor; he played at the club, his brother played at the club, and his mom, Angela, is also part of the NEVBC community. Off the court, Connor is a big sports fan, especially Formula 1, football, baseball, basketball, and New York teams.
