Coach Cat is originally from Norwalk, CT and began her volleyball journey at St. Luke’s School in New Canaan, where she competed on the varsity team and helped lead her program to a 2021 NEPSAC Championship. She went on to play two years of Division I volleyball at the University of Rhode Island and currently competes at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. As a Northeast Volleyball Club alumna, Catalina brings both high-level playing experience and a deep connection to the program.
Cat has spent two seasons as an assistant coach for NEVBC’s U12 team and has also served as a court coach and lead coach for the club’s summer programs. She takes pride in being a strong role model for young athletes and is especially passionate about developing setters and helping them grow in confidence and decision-making. Known for her positive energy and attention to detail, she enjoys running competitive drills like Neville’s Pepper. One of her favorite coaching moments was winning in Boston this past season with the 16.2 team.
Outside of volleyball, Coach Cat is a Biology major with aspirations of becoming a Physician Assistant, driven by her passion for helping others. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach and traveling. Coach Cat is excited to continue giving back to the NEVBC community. Families should know, it’s okay if you occasionally mistake her for her twin sister, Angie!
