CLASSES
Northeast Volleyball Club's classes give young athletes world-class volleyball instruction in a fun and positive environment. We believe that athletes should learn how to play volleyball by introducing skills and having them play a lot of volleyball! Athletes can expect to learn a different skill during each class, break out into different stations to practice the skill, and then show off their new learning through different, 2 v 2, 3 v 3, or 4 v 4 games.
NEVBC Winter and Spring classes are great for newer athletes or athletes who want to focus on increasing proficiency of their skills. During the summer, we offer classes for athletes of all levels.
All class curriculum is developed and taught by our Directors and Head Coaches. Learn more about our class offerings below, and if you are not sure what class is the best fit for you, please reach out to our Youth Director Shawn Hoyt at shawn@northeastvbc.com.

Classes FAQs
What should I bring to a class?
Athletes should bring water, athletic clothing, and wear athletic, non-marking shoes. Clothing should allow athletes to dive on the ground safely.
Do I need knee pads?
Athletes do not need to wear knee pads, but many athletes decide to wear them. We teach athletes to dive on the ground in many of our classes.
How much do the classes cost?
Class costs ranges depending upon multiple factors such as length of training session and size of class. Each class will have the cost listed on the League Apps registration page.
Is financial aid available for classes?
Yes! The Nectar Volley Fund provides financial aid for qualifying families throughout the year. Please apply for financial aid here before the start of your first class session. Families will be notified via email if they qualify for financial aid. If you need to delay payment on a class while you wait for financial aid, please email admin@northeastvbc.com.
Do you pro rate classes?
We do not pro rate classes unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Do you offer makeup classes?
If there is room in another class, we will allow athletes to make up missed sessions with another group. If classes are full, we will not be able to offer an athlete a makeup session.
